Having been born and raised in Stamford, NY, I am familiar with the area and have a deep admiration for the Catskills. I am passionate about the great outdoors, and spend a lot of my time hiking, taking walks or just getting in the car and going somewhere new. There are so many lovely quaint towns, and along the way, I constantly find myself amazed that I live in an area surrounded by so much beauty.
Now a mother of two, I feel fortunate to raise my children in such a beautiful, quiet country location where they have lots of room to play and explore. Growing up, I had a large back yard in which I have many fond memories exploring the garden where my mother grew vegetables and flowers, playing hide-and-seek with my sister, and climbing trees. Having that space growing up made me realize how crucial it is to be able to bestow that onto my own children, but also in helping others find their own little piece of paradise in which they have the right to quiet enjoyment of their own property.
With an abundance of cultural activities to do in the Catskills, there is never a shortage of a variety of things to choose from. Anything from skiing, to kayaking, to hiking, and even farming, you will find all that you are looking for in the area and surrounding communities. In the recent past, we have seen an increase in new businesses, breweries, coffee shops and much more. With this, there has also been a strong sense of community; there is great respect among locals and out of towners looking to call this place home that has set the foundation for a budding tight knit community that is an honor to be a part of.
If you enjoy fresh seasonal produce, you will find many farmers markets and small town farm stands that supply all your grocer needs, some of which are open all year round, thanks to the green houses they are grown in. You will find locally owned bakeries offering freshly baked breads and pastries, farm stands offering harvested sweet corn fresh from the fields, fruits and vegetables, family-owned shops providing homemade jams & locally produced maple syrup year round all right here in the Catskills. Come autumn, there are orchards for apple and pumpkin picking, which make baking a pleasure when the temperatures get cooler, not to mention the breathtaking fall foliage that is a real sight to behold.
It would be an honor to show you all the wonderful opportunities that the Catskills has to offer. Having spent my life in the area, I can provide excellent knowledge on activities to do, restaurants to try, hidden gems to explore and more. I take pride in helping others, and it is my dream to assist my clients in finding a place where they can authentically be themselves. I look forward to working with you.
