I moved with my wife from Philadelphia to New York in the very hot summer of 1999. We sought refuge from the city heat which we found in Margaretville. We bought a house on a stream the first day that we visited. Later, we bought land in Roxbury and built from the ground up. We've been exploring the back roads, trails and valleys of Delaware County for 20 years, introducing the area to many friends who have purchased here.
It's the dream of many that weekend in our Mountains to move here full time, and I've finally made that move. I've been representing buyers and sellers of real estate in NYC for 20 years, and have been part of hundreds of deals at every price point - from studios to townhouses. Besides the transactional part of the buying and selling process, I have personal experience renovating old homes and building on vacant land.
